Saturday night supper: fried chicken, rice, peas with snaps, corn, tomatoes, cucumbers (from my garden!) and biscuits.
First time using my Pyrex divided casserole dish. Love it!
Dessert: Pound cake (by Mama's recipe) with fresh strawberries and whipped cream
I had company--this wasn't all for me! ;-)
I like that divided dish, too! I don't think I've seen one of those before. Looks like a great dinner.

Found it at a local antique store, Barbara. I'm collecting a few that I really like. This was one!

All looks delicious!!! I think you probably cook more like Mama than I do. I can't remember when I ever made fried chicken--maybe when we lived in Newport News in the 80s I tried frying chicken in an electric fry pan! Not really since then. Love the looks of all the veggies.
