Bathroom counter makeover

BEFORE:

This bathroom counter, littered with all my various Bare Minerals powders and other miscellaneous stuff, was beyond messy--even by my standards of messiness! Since I have ample counter space and I'm the only one using this bathroom, I like leaving my stuff out where it's easily accessible every morning. But this was too much!

AFTER:

I bought a really cute melamine serving tray like this one at Amazon. I think I got mine at Bed, Bath and Beyond, but there aren't any at their online site. I reorganized, tossed the junk and I still have all my things accessible, but now it looks MUCH neater. It has been easier to keep it this way too. When too much stray powder gets on the tray, it's easy to wash right off.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     So I doubt any of you have the messiness problems that I do. But I bet some of you organized types have some cool  organizational tools for keeping the bathroom clutter at a minimum. I'm especially interested in all you BE fans--how do you keep your Bare Minerals products neatly corralled? But I'm always open for any tips for keeping organized. So let me hear them!

I like the tray! and the transformation! ;) I just keep my various mineral makeup containers in a few different small cosmetic bags, according to which I use the most often, and I take out a particular bag. Although I prob don't use as many at once as you, it can still be a bit hard to sort through the containers, so I might put a different color sticker on the lid to help them be easily recognizable.

I, too, have taken pictures of the clutter in my home just to prove to those who think I'm a neat-nick that I'm very good at dropping things ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE and leaving them for days. Unfortunately, I am not adept at putting such photos out there in cyberspace, so you'll have to take my word for it or look at my actual printed picture!

Looks much better and more organized. Clutter will ruin the look of a good Bathroom. I have a small basket for my makeup.

I have the same problem, I have invested in baskets and stuff in the past, but for some reason my makeup always ends up over the counter instead of in the basket. The tray is a fantastic idea.
