Unworthy posts

Once you haven't posted in a while, nothing seems worthy of being a post. I'm sure I have plenty of unworthy posts scattered all through my archives, so I decided why not another. Here's a general roundup of what's been keeping me away from the ol' blog:

• midterm grades (finished, submitted and groaned over by my students)
• yard work, including trimming some bushes, putting down some mulch and pine needles and installing two motion-sensor lights (not really yard work, but everything outside is in that category in my thinking) I had help with some of these, thankfully.
• three interviews this week for articles yet to be written
• Barney's neutering surgery yesterday. He's still recouperating... lots of groaning last night--I think he wanted a little sympathy from me, so I tried to be understanding. At least one person in the vet's office said, "oh, the terrorist" when I asked for Barney after the surgery.
• watched the two-hour "24" on Monday night. That is one of the most action-packed television shows ever. You never know who is going to die: everyone is expendable except for Jack Bauer. I'm still sad about Edgar though.

I forgot yesterday was Barney's BIG day! I should have called and asked about him. Tell the Barnster that Auntie Deb hopes he recovers soon and that the operation will help him be a little less of a terror! :)

Poor Barney! Maybe he'll be a little nicer in the future! LOL

I'm still sad about Edgar too.
