Stitch N' Pitch brings together two American traditions — Baseball and the NeedleArts. According to the National NeedleArts Association who sponsors Stitch N' Pitch, you just "go to a game and knit, crochet, embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint. Sit among friends, family and colleagues and cheer on your favorite Baseball Team."
Fans can receive discount tickets in a special seating section along with tote bags and prizes. Yarn and craft shops and fiber-arts groups provide samples, coupons and other goodies.
Atlanta's Stitch N' Pitch Day is scheduled for Sept. 17.
