Bet

I'm a native Virginian who has been living in the Upstate of South Carolina for more than 30 years. I teach undergraduate journalism students at a Christian liberal arts university.

I live in a house with a yard and a garden that is a work in progress. My daily company is my five-year-old miniature schnauzer Barney. He is smart, loving and is entirely too attached to me. I don't think there's much hope of reversing that at this point.

I enjoy reading, knitting, browsing in antique stores and playing word games.
